The smartphone industry is heating up with different tech right now. OPPO is not left behind in the party and a new report, the company has patented a smartphone that features an Under-display camera tech and two screens.
This OPPO device which is yet to hit the market was seen on the websites of two patent organizations – CNIPA and WIPO. From the images on the websites, the smartphones features curved display and round edges on all sides.
There is no punch-hole for the selfie camera upfront which means the devices uses the UDC tech. It appears more smartphone companies are bringing the UDC tech to their smartphones.
At the rear, the device has a camera module that seems to house four camera sensors and a LED flash. And close to the camera module is a square-shaped screen that displays the time and date, as well as informs about calls and notifications.
The power button is on the right side while the volume up and down keys are on the left. Going by this new patent, the OPPO device has two screen – the front screen and small notification screen at the back.
Rumor has it that this device might be among the upcoming OPPO Find X4 series. Well, only time we tell as we’re yet to see any official statement or renders to confirm.
