The phone has a Glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), plastic back, plastic frame and a IPS LCD display type. It comes with a huge display size of 6.55 inches and it has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~268 ppi density). This phone is expected to launch with Gorilla glass screen 3 as its display protection. Its a pretty tough glass to protect the display but a screen guard will help enhance display protection.

Nokia 5.3 Chipset, RAM and Internal Storage

It is packed with Qualcomm own Snapdragon chipset, the Qualcomm SM6125 Snapdragon 665 (11 nm) it’s a good performing chipset. For processing data, the phone uses Octa-core 2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold for processing data and 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver for power efficiency.

The phone comes in three variants, a 3GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage with space for external storage via microSD card. This is relatively good as more files can be saved and the phone can process more data with the installed RAM size. If you manage to fill up the internal storage, then you have the option of external storage via microSD card.

Nokia 5.3 Camera

With its 13 megapixel main shooter, you can expect to take awesome photos with this phone. There is also a 5 megapixel ultrawide, 2 megapixel macro camera and 2 megapixel depth sensor making a total of four cameras at the back. There is LED flash, HDR and panorama feature available.

Up front the phone uses a 8 megapixel camera placed in a cut out notch at the middle of the screen. Overall, the phone is expected to take good photos at the back and front. Its camera quality and video quality is good enough to capture all the moment.

The phone run out of the box Android 10 which is really good as that is the latest Android version available. It is also accompanied by the Android One graphical user interface. The Nokia 5.3 is yet to be announced for sale in the global market. But, in its most expensive variant, it expected to cost about N75,000.
