Nothing Phone 1 is now Available for Purchase: Nothing Phone 1 was launched in Europe last month and now the phone is available for purchase in Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore. Key features and specs of the Nothing Phone 1
Nothing Phone 1 comes with a 6.55-inches 1080p OLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has support for HDR10+ and has a peak brightness of 800 nits. It has slim bezels and the front screen and back panel are flat. On the rear, it has Multiple LED lights on the back. These LED lights serve as notifications, charging progress, camera fill light, and video recording indicator.
This smartphone is made of a Glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and aluminum frame. It is IP53 – splash, water, and dust resistant and has an 85.8% screen-to-body ratio. For its performance, Nothing Phone 1 features the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chip. This is a 5G chipset that has one Cortex-A78 prime core, three Cortex-A78 big cores, and four Cortex-A55 small cores. The Octa-core CPU is paired with the Adreno 642L GPU. The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Nothing Phone 1 has dual rear camera sensors and a single front camera. A 50MP primary camera with PDAF and OIS features, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with AF, and a 16MP selfie camera. The 50MP primary camera can record steady videos in 4K resolution and has a live HDR feature while the 16MP front camera can record steady videos in 1080p resolution.
Nothing Phone 1 boots the Nothing OS 1.1.3 based on Android 12 out of the box. This smartphone will be getting three years of major software updates and security patches.
