We are just a few days away from the release of the Nubia Red Magic 7 series. And ZTE has started releasing some teasers in a bit to create hype for the device. Well, some of the teasers so far are proving to be very interesting.
For those who don’t know, ZTE has a gaming smartphone lineup known as Nubia Red Magic. The latest series is the Red Magic 7 and it’s expected to debut in a few days’ time. So, what are the details we know about the incoming Red Magic 7 series so far?

Nubia Red Magic 7 Has a Custom Gaming Chip
One of the latest new leaked features of the Red Magic 7 is its custom gaming chip. According to ZTE, along with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, the company has created a custom Red Core 1 gaming chip for the device.

The purpose of this chip is to improve sound, light, vibration, and touch input, all in order to make the gaming process comfortable and smooth. Aside from the custom chip, a new and more efficient cooling system is also expected to feature inside the Red Magic 7 series.

The new cooling system is said to be able to remove heat over an area of up to 4124 mm². The phone will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery and come with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It will have a 6.8-inch display, an OLED panel, FHD+ resolution, and a 165Hz refresh rate. At the rear, it will come with a 64MP triple rear camera and it’ll boot Android 12 out of the box.

ZTE has also said there will be a Red Magic 7 special edition that will have the under-display camera technology. Another interesting thing about the Red Magic 7 is the design of the back panel. So far, render images have shown the device to have a translucent back cover. Under this cover, a backlit fan can be seen, its rotation speed is said to be 20,000 rpm.
The chipset inside the Red Magic 7 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with the latest Adreno 730 GPU. Paired with the custom gaming chip, this device is expected to provide a whole new level of gaming experience.
