Nubia Z50 Ultra comes in three storage options and is available in black, blue, and white colors. The price of the Nubia Z50 Ultra with 8G RAM and 256GB storage is $699. While the models with 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB storage are sold for $799 and $899 respectively. The phone is currently available for pre-order and will start shipping on March 18th, 2023.

Nubia Z50 Ultra Key specs

Nubia Z50 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch flat AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Its display resolution is 2400 x 1116 pixels (FHD+) and it supports 10-bit color depth (1.07 billion colors), 960Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and 10-bit colors. Its peak brightness of 1500 nits and has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with an octa-core processor and the Adreno 740 GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. To cool the temperature of the phone, it features a five-layer micron graphene and VC liquid-cooled soaking plate. Nubia Z50 Ultra has a 3062 mm2 vapor chamber unit.

For its camera, the Nubia Z50 Ultra has triple rear cameras and a single front camera. On the rear, it has 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 main camera with OIS support, an 85mm 64-megapixel periscope zoom camera with OIS support, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, which doubles up as a macro camera.

On the front, it has a 16-megapixel OmniVision OV16A1Q front-facing camera powered by the company’s NeoVision imaging algorithm under the screen. The cameras have features such as Laser Auto Focus, gyro-EIS, HDR10, 10‑bit video, etc. The main camera can record videos in 8K and 4K resolutions.

Nubia Z50 Ultra boots MyOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box and will get up to three years of software updates. It has a 5,000mAh battery inside and supports 80W wired fast charging.
