The official prices of the Nothing Phone 1 in Europe have leaked on Amazon Germany days before its release. According to the leak, the model of the Nothing Phone 1 with 8GB RAM + 12GB of storage will be sold for €469.99. While the model with 12GB RAM + 256GB of storage will be sold for €549.99 in Europe.
These new leaked Europe prices are much higher than the initial price leaks. This means the starting price of the Nothing Phone 1 is about $490 and for a phone that features the Snapdragon 778G+ 5G chipset, it’s quite expensive. Going by the chipset, the Nothing Phone 1 will compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy A73, Galaxy A52s, Realme GT Neo 3, and OnePlus 10R.
But, going by its pricing, the device is on the level of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Realme GT 2, and Google Pixel 6. And this seems to make sense because the Nothing Phone 1 features a wireless charge feature which the Galaxy A73, A52s, and OnePlus 10R do not have.
It also appears that Nothing won’t be selling its new phone alone. The company will be selling the phone along with the Nothing Ear 1 wireless earbud. And the Nothing Ear 1 costs an extra €96.99.
Although Nothing has said that Nothing Phone 1 won’t be available in the US market, its network bands might work with network carriers in the United States. And this means you can buy one of these phones online and have it sent to you in the US.
We’re still days away from the release event of the Nothing Phone 1. More updates will be revealed as time goes on. But for now, do you think the European price of the phone is too much? Please use the comment section below.
