OnePlus is keeping to the tradition of releasing a more affordable version of its flagship phone. Last year, the company released the OnePlus 9R as a more affordable option for the OnePlus 9 Pro. This year, the company is bringing the OnePlus 10R as a more affordable option for the OnePlus 10 Pro.

Today, a new render has revealed the design of the incoming OnePlus 10R and we also have some new rumors about the cameras and specs of the device. From the renders shared today, the OnePlus 10R has a similar design as the Realme GT Neo 3 that was recently released in China. The OnePlus 10R comes with a center punch-hole, has a triple rear camera setup, and is the Alert Slider feature is missing.

OnePlus is known to have a punch hole on its phones to be at the top left. If the new renders are anything to go by, it means the OnePlus 10R will be the first OnePlus phone to feature a center punch-hole. The power button is on the right-hand side of the frame while the volume rocker is on the left side of the device.

OnePlus 10R design

At the rear of the OnePlus 10R, there is a vertically placed rectangular camera module that houses three camera sensors. Just like we saw on the Realme GT Neo 3, the large primary sensor is on the top, with two smaller lenses below. But unlike the GT Neo 3, the LED flash is placed at the side of the camera sensors.

OnePlus 10R specifications (rumored)

The OnePlus 10R might come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. It will feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 8GB and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM options and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. It might have space for storage expansion via a microSD card.

Along with the removal of the Alert Slider, OnePlus might also remove the 3.5mm audio jack from the OnePlus 10R. However, the smartphone is expected to come with stereo speakers and Dolby Audio support. The OnePlus 10R might boot Android 12 based OxygenOS skin software out of the box. Features such as Hi-Res Audio support and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security are expected to be available.

When it comes to the camera, the OnePlus 10R will feature a triple rear camera system, with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide Sony IMX355 sensor, and a 2MP Macro. At the back, it might feature a 16MP S5K3P9SP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone is expected to come in two models – one will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 150W fast charging support and the other with a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging.

OnePlus 10R Price (expected)

The starting price of the OnePlus 10R is expected to be $599 for the 8GB + 128GB of storage. The other version with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could go as high as $759.
