Images of what appears to be the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G have surfaced online. According to Tech YouTuber Dave Lee, a user online shared the live images with him. And he made a nice first impression video with details of the new phone.
Thanks to that video we now have idea on how the 5G model of the OnePlus 9 Pro might actually look like, its camera features, RAM size, display features and Interal storage options.

OnePlus 9 Pro 5G Camera Features and Hasselblad Partnership
To begin with the specifications of the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G, let’s talk about the camera. There are four cameras at the back. Possible guess is that it there is a main camera, an ultrawide, one telephoto, one macro or a depth sensor.
The telephoto has a weird 3.3x optical zoom which is not normal as we usually get just 3x zoom. Also, the camera module bumps out and it has LED flash and what appears to be a laser autofocus system. But that is not all; one interesting feature of the camera is the Hasselblad branding.

Unlike Nokia, Sony and Vivo that partnered with ZEISS on their cameras, it seems OnePlus is choosing to partner with Hasselblad for its camera. Which means the camera will be different from those of the OnePlus 8 Pro.
Some tech analyst and influencers have confirmed this on twitter. We look forward to how this new partnership will improve the photo qualities from this new OnePlus Flagship phone. We are also anticipating how this will also affect the pricing of the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G.
The Display, Chipset, RAM and Battery
From the photos revealed, the phone has a display that is curved to the sides. The bezel is very thing and the frame of the phone runs round the phone with a glossy back finish. Which us quite different from the back finish of the OnePlus 8 Series.

There is no word about the display size but we are expecting it to be between 6.7-6.9 inch OLED displays. Also, the display supports 120Hz refresh rate as per the leak photos with Quad-HD+ resolution. But if you are looking to get more battery life then you can also switch to standard 60Hz refresh rate.
Another important aspect of the leak shows that the smartphone has 11GB RAM and 256GB Internal Storage. But this might be a software glitch and the RAM might just be 12GB.
No word has been confirmed about the chipset yet but OnePlus has announced they’ll use the Snapdragon 888 chipset and the OnePlus 9 Pro 5G seems like a good candidate for that.

Its battery capacity is still unknown but anything below 4500mAh will not be nice. Charging features are expected to include; fast charge, wireless charge and reverse wiresless charge. Plus, this phone has IP68 rating (water resistant).
OnePlus 9 Pro 5G Price and Release Date
This phone is expected to be released along with the standard OnePlus 9 which will be powered by Snapdragon 870 chipset. The announcement of the OnePlus 9 series is expected to happen somewhere next month.
Few weeks after its announcement, the OnePlus 9 series is expected to start shipping. It will be available in the United States, United Kingdom and other European countries. The OnePlus 9 Pro 5G might also be available in Asia and Africa countries when it starts shipping.
