OnePlus Pad debuts as the Company’s first tablet

OnePlus Pad is finally here as the tech company’s first tablet in the industry. The OnePlus tablet was released at an event held globally on February 7, 2023. It was a spray of an event where many products were announced. The OnePlus 11 flagship smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 2 and Buds Ace in China, OnePlus 11R and Buds Pro 2 in India, etc.

But perhaps the most eye-catchy was the OnePlus Pad. This tablet has an 11.6-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 2800×2000, 144Hz refresh rate support, and a peak brightness of up to 500 nits.

It’s a premium tablet that’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. Paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. More so, the OnePlus Pad has four speakers, one for each corner of the tablet, with support for Dolby Atmos.

Now let’s talk about the camera capabilities. First, the rear camera is obvious- a circular module containing just one sensor of 13MP that is capable of 4K video recording. While upfront is an 8MP for selfie-snapping or video conferencing.

OnePlus Pad packs a 9,510mAh battery inside with 67W fast charge support. According to OnePlus, the battery can last for 14 and a half hours of video streaming and 1 month of standby. Other accessories you can buy for the OnePlus Pad include Magnetic Keyboard, a Folio case, and the OnePlus Stylo- an SPen for drawing or taking notes on the OnePlus Pad.
