Oppo A55s 5G launched in Japan with 4,000mAh battery and SD 480 chip

OPPO has just launched a new device into the Oppo A-series. The device is called Oppo A55s 5G and it’s a 5G smartphone with a Snapdragon 480 chip inside. This device was launched in Japan today and will be available for purchase in the country soon.

The Oppo A55s 5G features a 6.5-inch display, an IPS LCD panel, FHD+ resolution and 90hz refresh rate. It also comes with a punch-hole cutout that houses an 8MP selfie camera.

Oppo A55s 5G

At the rear, it comes with a dual camera set up; 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Its chipset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chip paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device has space for storage expansion via microSD card.

The whole package is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and it runs Android 11 out of the box along with ColorOS 11. The colors of the new Oppo A55s 5G are green and black.

Its retail price in Japans is JPY 32,800 ($287). Pre-order has started with partnering Oppo retailers across Japan. Sales starts from November 26 2021.
