OPPO A58 5G is officially launched in China at a budget price. The design of the smartphone is very identical to that of the Tecno Camon 19 and other devices on the market. However, OPPO made the A58 5G so thin and light weighted. To be specific, the device is thin at around 7.9mm and weighs just 188g.
OPPO A58 5G price in China starts at CNY 1,699 ($234) for the 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage model. The device was launched in China in a single configuration. Pre-orders have started and shipments will commence on November 10th, 2022.

The OPPO A58 5G features a 6.56-inch HD+ IPS LCD touchscreen with 90Hz refresh rate support. The display has a waterdrop notch with a max brightness of 600 nits. Additionally, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric verification. And it will be available in three color options Tranquil Sea Blue, Star Black, and Breeze Purple.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage. You can expand the storage through a microSD card. The battery capacity measures 5,000 mAh capacity with a 33W wired fast charge.

Camera-wise, the OPPO A58 5G has a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. While upfront is an 8MP for a selfie. The rear camera can record video in 1080p resolution same as the front camera. The phone boots ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
