OPPO has finally launched the Reno5 Series in Nigeria with the exception of one device from the series. The launch event lasted for over 1 hour and they unveiled lots of features about the Reno5 series.

First, the Reno5 Series launched in Nigeria is made up of two phones – OPPO Reno5 and OPPO Reno5 F. There is also a 5G model of this phone but its not debuting in Nigeria.

Features of the OPPO Reno5 Series

OPPO Reno5 is the most sophisticated device of the two phones launched. It come with a 64MP quad rear camera, it has Snapdragon 720G chipset, runs Android 11, has 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

It’s camera features are also pretty impressive. You can record two videos simultaneously by using the back and front camera at same time. There is also steady video mode, night mode, nice portrait mode etc.

Upfront is a 44MP selfie camera and the 4310mAh battery puts the icing on the cake for OPPO. The battery can be fully charged within 1 hour thanks to the 50W fast charge. Which now brings us to the lower OPPO Reno5 F.

Reno5 F runs on same Android 11, also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage but uses a different chipset. It’s powered by a MedaiTek Helio P95 chipset, has lower 48MP rear camera and lower 32MP selfie camera.

It still maintains same 4310mAh battery but with a 30W fast charge. Both phones in the Reno5 Series uses under-display fingerprint and has FullHD+ AMOLED display.
