OPPO is getting set to launch the OPPO Pad 2 and it seems to be coming with some noticeable upgrades over the previously released OPPO Pad. The OPPO Pad that was released last year by the Chinese phone maker is really impressive but the OPPO Pad 2 is even more impressive.
According to DCS, the OPPO Pad 2 will feature a more powerful chipset from MediaTek, a bigger display, a bigger battery, and support a faster charging system. In terms of design, the Pad 2 will look like its predecessor but the hardware and specs will be different.

OPPO Pad 2 specifications (rumored)
The OPPO Pad 2 is expected to have a bigger display than the OPPO Pad. Since the OPPO Pad featured an 11-inch display, we can assume that the OPPO Pad 2 will have at least an 11.5-inch display (or a 12-inch display). It will have a resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and will support a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The OPPO Pad featured the Snapdragon 870 chipset from Qualcomm but the OPPO Pad 2 is said to be coming with the Dimensity 9000 chipset from MediaTek. The chipset will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
A 9,500mAh battery will power the OPPO Pad 2 and it will support 67W wired fast charging. The OPPO Pad 2 is likely to use the ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. It’ll be equipped with a single front and rear camera and have four Dolby Atmos Quad Speakers with Hi-Res audio certification.
The price of the OPPO Pad 2 might start at $499 for the model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. We’ll get more updates in the coming weeks but all the rumors so far point to the fact that the OPPO Pad 2 will be a premium mid-range tablet. And it’ll sure be more powerful than its predecessor the OPPO Pad.
