From the new report, this new OPPO foldable smartphone is expected to be more durable and better than the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This is a huge claim considering the fact that the Z Fold 3 is the current king of foldables.

Earlier today in a blog post, OPPO Chief Officer Pete Lau shared that it took four years of work and testing to put to birth the new OPPO foldable smartphone. And the company is now ready to reveal the device next week.

This is our first foldable flagship smartphone – a result of four years of intense R&D and 6 generations of prototypes.

This device is OPPO’s answer to the future of smartphones, and one that I’ve been truly excited about since taking on the role as chief product officer at OPPO

It’s important to note that OPPO is joining the likes of Samsung, Huawei, and Xiaomi in the foldable market. OPPO is a little late to the party but ‘better late than never’ right?

Oppo Find N

The teaser shared by OPPO shows the OPPO Find N might feature a triple rear camera setup. There is also the tagline “Designed For Find.” The company didn’t share any technical details of the phone.

Pete Lau teased that the OPPO Find N will not have a visible crease in its display and that OPPO solved durability issues “by inventing perhaps the best hinge and display designs available today.”

If the smartphone is as good as those statements above, then its might actually stand a chance against the Galaxy Z Fold 3. Remember, the Z Fold 3 from Samsung is the only foldable phone right now with IPX7 water resistance rating.
