Realme is preparing to launch a new affordable mid-range phone known as the Realme 10 Pro+. This will be the successor to the Realme 9 Pro+ and its battery capacity has been revealed via an online certification website.
The Realme 10 Pro+ with the model number RMX3686 has passed China’s Quality Certification (CQC) database. And according to the details listed on CQC, the device will be powered by a 4,890mAh rated battery capacity (that is a 5,000mAh battery).
The 5,000mAh battery of the Realme 10 Pro+ is a step further when compared to the 4,500mAh battery in the Realme 9 Pro+. This also suggests other things about the incoming Realme mid-range phone. It might feature an AMOLED display with a faster refresh rate. A bigger battery might also mean a newer and faster chipset.
For those who don’t know, the Realme 9 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 920 5G chipset and its display has a 90Hz refresh rate. So, it’ll make sense for Realme to increase the battery of its predecessor and bump the refresh rate to 120Hz and use a newer chipset with faster CPU cores and a more powerful GPU.
According to the rumors, the Realme 10 Pro+ will be among the first phones to feature the Dimensity 1080 5G chipset from MediaTek. A better chipset for gaming and a smoother refresh rate that drains battery are good reasons to increase the battery capacity of the incoming Realme phone.
Along with the Realme 10 Pro+, a more affordable Realme 10 is also expected to debut. The Realme 10 is expected to feature the MediaTek Helio G99 4G chipset and feature a smaller battery capacity. There is very feature information on the incoming Realme mid-range phones. More updates will be available in the coming weeks.
