The Realme GT 2 Explorer Master is the first phone in the world to use the LPDDR5X RAM. The Chinese tech company revealed this among other specs early today through its Weibo account. The smartphone will be launched in China on July 12th, 2022, which is just around the corner.
LPDDR5X RAM is faster than the LPDDR5 RAM by a wide margin. In terms of speed, the LPDDR5X has 8.5 Gbps speed, compared to LPDDR5’s 6.4 Gbps. The speed difference is significant enough to boost the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master or any other smartphone that features it.
Additionally, Realme also affirms that the forthcoming flagship device will have a metal frame and a 10-bit display with HDR10+ and up to 120Hz refresh rate. From the pictures shared by the tech company, the GT 2 Explorer Master has a flat display with thin bezels around.

Powering the performance of the Realme GT 2 Explorer Master is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 8/12 GB RAM with storage expected to be up to 512 GB. Realme will reveal more info as the release date gets closer.
