Realme is getting to announce its last flagship of 2021 “the GT 2 Pro”. Ahead of the announcement scheduled for tomorrow, there is a new leak about its chipset, camera, and display features.
According to leakster DCS, the new device will features the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, have two 50MP rear camera, and offer QHD+ display. This means improved display quality and better camera experience.
The phone is expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel that is manufactured by Samsung. It will support 120Hz refresh rate and the display will be flat not curved on both sides. Upfront it is expected to come with 32MP selfie camera.
There is going to be a triple rear camera set up: a 50MP main camera which might be the Sony IMX766 module, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and an unknown periscope telephoto lens. Its battery capacity is yet to be known but the leak says it has support for 65W charging.
Motorola is also set to announce its Moto Edge X30 flagship smartphone tomorrow. This means if Realme announce the GT 2 Pro first, it’ll be the first phone maker to announce a smartphone with the new 2021 Qualcomm flagship chip on board.
We still await the first smartphone to rock the 2021 flagship chip inside. And so far, it seems either Realme or Motorola are the first phone makers with confirmed announcement date.
