Display & Durability

Realme GT Neo2 has a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. This means you get to enjoy really fast display when using the screen. While the Xiaomi 11T features a bigger 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate.

Both smartphones have similar display features but the Xiaomi 11T comes with a slightly bigger display size. For those that love playing games and watching movies, the Xiaomi device will fit better.

Camera

The Realme GT Neo 2 features a triple rea camera set up; a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. While upfront it comes with a 16MP selfie camera. Its camera can record 4k videos and has gyro-EIS feature for video stability.

Xiaomi 11T also features a triple rear camera set up but different sensors; it has a 108MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Upfront, it comes with a 16MP selfie camera. The camera can also record 4k videos and has video stability features.

As far as camera goes, both devices are really good. But 108MP sensors ae rated above the 64MP sensors. So, for better camera experience, the Xiaomi 11T is your device.

Performance | Storage | RAM | 5G

These two devices has support for 5G network tech. Realme GT Neo 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870G 5G chip, paired with 8 or 12GB RAM and 128 or 256GB storage. There is no space for storage expansion via microSD card.

Xiaomi 11T on the otherhand is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G paired with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of storage. It also does not have support for storage expansion via microSD card.

Both devices has same RAM and storage options and they both have support for 5G. But, things is a little different when it comes to chipset. The chipset inside the Realme GT Neo2 is a little more efficient compared to the one found inside the Xiaomi 11T. So, I’d pick the Realme GT Neo 2 due to its consistent better performance.

Software

Both devices runs Android 11 out of the box on top each company’s skin software. These devices will also be getting upgrade to Android 12 and also get at least three years of monthly security patches.

Battery

Realme GT Neo 2 packs 5,000mAh battery capacity out of the box with 65W fast charge support, while Xiaomi 11T features a 67W fast charge tech attached to its 5,000mAh battery.

The starting price for Realme GT Neo 2 $450 for the 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage option. While the starting price of the Xiaomi 11T is $499 for the 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage.

Realme GT Neo 2 vs Xiaomi 11T: Verdict

If you need a device with bigger display and better camera features, the Xiaomi 11T will be the best device to buy here. But if display and consistent performance is your important to you then the Realme GT Neo 2 is better.

Its a little difficult to recommend one above the other here. However, the Realme GT Neo2 is the more affordable device which gives it an edge.

So if I’m to score these two devices by percentage. I’ll score the Xiaomi 11T (50%) while the Realme GT Neo 2 gets (50%). The verdict is based on all specifications considered.
