Nubia has finally launched the Red Magic 8 Pro and Red Magic 8 Pro Plus in China. These two smartphones are the successors of the previous Red Magic 7 Pro and Red Magic 7S Pro. Red Magic 8 Pro Plus Price in China
Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro Plus price in China starts at CNY 5,199 ($848) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, while the 16/512 GB variant is priced at CNY 5,799 ($899). The model with a transparent back cover will be costing $200 extra. Official shipment of the Red Magic 8 Pro Series in China will start on December 28.
The Red Magic 8 Pro+ brings a 6.8-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 960Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ certification, and up to 1300 nits of brightness. For security, it has an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric verification. Also, it supports NFC and has stereo speakers too.
The performance of the Red Magic 8 Pro+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, alongside an in-house R2 chip for better gaming effects, such as enhanced sound details, colors, touch sensitivity, and haptic vibration feedback. Moreover, the SD 8 Gen 2 chip is paired with 12/16 GB RAM and the storage options are 512GB and 1TB. As for the battery capacity, it measures 5,000 mAh with a 165W wired fast charging system.
Camera-wise, the Red Magic 8 Pro Plus has a 50MP main camera, supported by an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 16MP under-display selfie camera. The device boots RedMagic OS 6 based on Android 13 out of the box. And it’s available in two color options Black and Transparent.

As for the Red Magic 8 Pro with transparent cover, that will cost you CNY 4,999 ($749). Official shipment of the Red Magic 8 Pro Series in China will start on December 28.
