Redmi have launched its first gaming laptop in China and it’s called the Redmi G. The new Redmi gaming laptop comes in three different model using three different chipsets.
The designs and most of the specifications are almost same across all three models. Its pricing starts from about $763; 295,000 Naira and it will start selling from August 17.

Redmi G Gaming Laptop Key Specifications
All three models of this new Redmi gaming laptop have a 16.1-inch Full HD (1920x 1080) LCD display type. It has a 100% sRGB color gamut, 178 degree viewing angle, 81% screen-to-body ratio, anti-glare coating and 300 nits brightness.
But only the mid and highest model comes with the 144Hz refresh rate, while the base model comes with the standard 60Hz refresh rate. Although a 90Hz refresh rate would have been so cool in the base model of this gaming laptop.
Under the hood, they feature three different processors and two different GPUs.

The similarities between these laptops, similar body build (design), 720p webcam at the chin of the display, backlit keyboard with 1.5, keystroke, hurricane cooling 2.0 copper cooling system with dual fan, 2 x 2W speakers, DTS:X Ultra 3D Sound, Microsoft Windows 10 Home Chinese version, and 55Whr battery.

As for memory, all the models come with 16GB (2 x 8GB) 2933MHz DDR4 RAM and 512GB PCIe × 4 NVMe SSD (up to 2TB). But there are some major differences too.
For example, the base variant comes with a Base Frequency of 2.4GHz and Max Turbo Frequency of 4.1GHz. While the mid and top model comes with a Base Frequency of 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz, and Max Turbo Frequency of 4.5GHz and 5GHz respectively.
Both the mid and top model also comes with a more power NVIDIA GeForce GPU. Which means that both models is more capable to process high graphics and play heavy games more smoothly.
