Xiaomi is finally going to release the long awaited Redmi K40 Series. This was confirmed by the company VP Lu Weibing stating its release date is February 25.
Although the original post from the VP was written in Chinese, a translating Machine helps us understand how the new Redmi phone will look like.

According to the translation of Mr Lu’s post on Weibo, the Redmi K40 will come with a brand new design and will offer a brand new user experience.
We are still waiting for the official design and specifications of the Redmi K40. But according to this previous leak, it confirmed that the Redmi K40 will have a Snapdragon 888 chipset, also have a very expensive flat display with about 4500mAh battery.

The post by Mr Lu also said that the starting price of the Redmi K40 series is CNY 2,999 about 465 USD or 385 EURO. And considering the rumored specs, this should be one of the most affordable flagship of 2021.

Rumor has it that the Redmi K40 series has three variants; Vanilla Redmi K40, Redmi K40S and Redmi K40 Pro. Only the Pro variant is rumored to spot a 108MP rear camera. But all three variants of the K40 is expected to come with 5G networks.
