A new report has suggest that the launch of the Redmi K50 smartphones in China s just around the corner. The Redmi K50 series phones has passed through a certification website in China revealing some details about the devices.
The series will be made up of three phones: Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+. All three smartphones is said to have bagged an important China certification and these phones are on its way to the public.

Late last year and earlier this year, Redmi has confirmed that it will host a product launch conference for the unveiling of the Redmi K50 series after the Spring Festivals. So, what do we know about the phones in the K50 series so far?
The listing on the Chinese certification website revealed some details. Let’s take a look at what the phones in the Redmi K50 series will be bringing.

Chipsets and Model Numbers
According to DCS on a Weibo post, the model number of the Redmi K50 is 22021211RC and it has been certified in China. The chipset inside this model is said to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G. This phone was spotted on Geekbench last month running Android 12 OS paired with 12GB RAM.
The model number of the Redmi K50 Pro is number 22041211AC. According to the rumors, this device is still in the works and it the chipset inside is the newly released MediaTek Dimensity 8000.

The highest model in the series, the Redmi K50 Pro+ is said to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. All the phones are expected to come with a screen size of 6.67-inch, to feature AMOLED panel, FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate.
The battery inside is expected to be 4,700mAh with support for 120W fast charge. Phones in the series is expected to come with 64MP main camera but there is a model that is expected to pack a 108MP main camera.

It also appears that a one of the Redmi K50 series (probably the Redmi K50 Pro+) will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. This was recently confirmed by Redmi GM LU Weibing. He also hinted that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 version will be launched ahead of the Dimensity 9000 model.
So far, Redmi is still keeping the official details of these phones under wraps. We expect to see more details in the coming days.
