Display and Design
The design of these two smartphones is very alike. Both have a selfie camera placed in the middle cut out of the screen. Also, both have a 90Hz refresh rate. However, the size and quality of the displays are different. The Tecno Camon 18 screen of 6.8-inch is bigger than the Redmi Note 11 with 6.4-inch. But the Redmi Note 11 has better display quality because of the Super AMOLED panel.
Thus, for playing games, the Tecno Camon 18 big screen will be very useful. However, the Redmi Note 11 with a super AMOLED display is better for watching media (Netflix, Youtube, etc). The AMOLED display is better than IPS LCD on the Tecno Camon 18.

Redmi Note 11 vs Tecno Camon 18: Camera
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 camera is more versatile. It comes with a 50MP main cam, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera. The smartphone can only record video in 1080p (No 4k).
Tecno Camon 18 on the other hand, has a triple camera: 48MP main cam, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. It has no ultra-wide lens which is where it falls behind the Redmi Note 11. The front camera is 16MP and just like the Redmi, the Camon 18 can only record video in 1080p (No 4k).
Overall, the Tecno Camon 18 is a good camera phone, but the Redmi Note 11 is better. The Redmi Note 11 is more versatile for usage.
Performance | 5G
Both smartphones are 4G only. And both have a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. As well as a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration. However, the chipsets that power them are different. The Redmi Note 11 is powered by Snapdragon 680 4G, while the Tecno Camon 18 is powered by MediaTek hello G88.
These two chipsets inside both devices are midrange level. And so far from our testing in the studio, both chips are at par. So the performances across both phones are alike.

Software
These two devices run Android 11 out of the box. However, over time, Xiaomi will upgrade the Redmi Note 11 up to Android 13 or even 14. But Tecno Camon 18 could remain Android 11 or at most Android 12 which is not even certain yet.
So for a better software experience, we’ll recommend the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 over the Tecno Camon 18.

The Redmi Note 11 is the better phone of these two. It offers better value for money. It has a better software plan and UI experience, a brighter display, and a better camera. However, one reason to consider the Tecno Camon 18 is because of its after-sales services. The Tecno Camon 18 is easier to repair as Carlcare repair centres are almost in every region where Transsion devices are being sold.
