We have seen foldable phones become more and more popular while also becoming more expensive. But, it’s even getting more interesting as new concept and ideas are coming into play. A render have shown that the incoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 will likely have two folds.
What does that even mean? Well let’s get to help you understand this below. As if there is company tho pull this off it will have to be Samsung.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Motorola Razr 2019 have a different kind of food factor. This makes them easily shrink from big to small and vice versa. While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Surface Duo have the open book kind of food factor. Where you open and close them just like you would a book.

But all the folding factors so far have one thing in common, and that they make use of one hinge. There is just one fold in one direction for all the foldable phones thus far. What if something new is coming?
A new render recently shows that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 might come with two foldable screens which means it’ll have two hinges. One will open to the left while the other to the right.
This concept might seem a little too much but come to think of it, nothing is actually too much in this tech industry.
So, this phone can also literally serve as a laptop screen if you just connect an external keyboard. We are up for a foldable phone opening in either direction but how about the pricing?

Chipsets are getting better which means they are also becoming more expensive. Galaxy Z Fold 2 already retailed at $2000 one can only imagine how much the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will go for.
Imagine pairing the Z Fold 3 with new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip or Exynos 2100. It will be such a good device but it will also be expensive.
Hopefully there will be a lower model which will be more affordable. Making the device more affordable will be one way to get into the hands of many users.
But taking our mind off the price, the tech will be awesome. Even if some phones users might feel it’s a little too much but hey, tech always improves.
So what do you think about the render of the Galaxy Z Fold 3? Will you buy a phone that opens in either direction? How much will you be willing to pay to get it? Let’s discuss in the comment section below.
