Sales of Honor Phones rebounds in China, making its way to Global Market

To get back into the global smartphone world, Honor had to break away from Huawei. Since the breakaway, Honor has started building back its profile. Now a new report from Counterpoint Research has shown the success the brand is making with its fightback.

The release of the Honor 50 series in China is the fuel behind the rebounds of Honor into the global market.

The Chinese company posted a very strong growth for the month of June and July, reaching an 8.4% market share in June – the last month for which the data is compiled.

Sales of Honor Phones within 10 months

According to the report from Counterpoint Research, sales of Honor Phones between June 21 and July 4 have jumped by some 36%, compared with the previous two weeks. This growth was fueled by the Honor 50 launch in China on June 25. And with the launch of the Magic 3 series and the budget Honor play 5T pro, the company has more growth ahead.

Brand loyalty among customers has also played key role in the impressive sales of Honor Phones. Another factor for the growth is R&D capabilities. George Zhao has revealed over 4,000 people were rehired at the new HQ when Honor split from Huawei, and now users are appreciating the continuity the brand is keeping.

The company is also linked with Digital China – a Chinese company that has the biggest supply chain network. This partnership makes Honor a very strong competitor in the smartphone market as its products are distributed to wider audience.
