Samsung Exynos 1480 Specs
The Exynos 1480 chip is built on Samsung’s 4nm process technology and features a 4+4 CPU architecture. The prime CPU is 4x Cortex-A78 units at 2.75 GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 at 2.0 GHz for efficiency.
Additionally, the Exynos 1480 chipset supports up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The modem is 5G NR Sub-6GHz 5.10 Gbps (DL) / 1.28 Gbps (UL) and 5G NR mmWave 4.84 Gbps (DL) / 0.92 Gbps (UL) LTE Cat.18 6CC 1.2Gbps (DL) / Cat.18 2CC 211Mbps (UL).
The biggest upgrade is the GPU. It comes with an Xclipse 530 GPU, based on the AMD RDNA architecture, it is the first midrange mobile chipset with this advanced technology. According to Samsung, the Exynos 1480 has a 53% faster GPU than last year’s Exynos 1380.
