The smartphone was launched in early March 2022. And it is currently available for purchase in Nigeria via Samsung partnered stores nationwide.

The Galaxy A23 has a 6.6-inch TFT IPS FHD+ screen with 90 Hz refresh rate support. It is available in four different colours: Black, White, Peach, and Blue.

Around the back are quad cameras systems consisting of a 50 MP main cam, 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. The main camera can record video at 4kresolution. While upfront is an 8MP selfie camera placed in the waterdrop notch display design.

Being an entry-level device, it is powered by Snapdragon 680 4G enabled processor, paired with 4/6GB or 8 GB RAM and 64/128 GB storage. The storage is expandable via a micro SD card. And comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
