Display, Build, and Design

The Galaxy A33 5G comes with a 6.4-inches AMOLED display with support for a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. While the Infinix Note 12 VIP comes with a bigger 6.7-inches, the same AMOLED display, a higher 120Hz refresh rate, but the same FHD+ resolution.

The Infinix Note 12 VIP boots XOS 10.6 based on Android 12 out of the box and it’s guaranteed to get an Android 13 update. The Galaxy A33 5G boots One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 out of the box. Samsung is promising four years of major software updates and five years of monthly security patches for the Galaxy A53 5G.

So, on the software front, the Galaxy A33 5G is still better. The Infinix Note 12 VIP might stop getting major software updates after one year. But the Galaxy A33 5G will get four years of major software updates.

Battery
