Samsung is going to have a busy start to the year as the Korean tech giant is getting set to launch the galaxy A-series on January 18 and the Galaxy S23 series on February 1. The Samsung Galaxy A-series this year will include the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54. We have a new report on the European variant of the Galaxy A34.

The European variant of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has appeared on Geekbench and this listing revealed some details about the smartphone. According to the listing, the European variant of the Galaxy A34 has the model number SM-A346B.

The listing also showed that the chipset powering the European model has the model number MT6877 and the chipset has 8 CPU cores – two performance cores with a speed of 2.6GHz and six efficiency cores with a speed of 2.0GHz. These CPU cores are the same as those of the MediaTek Dimenity 1080 5G chipset – the same chipset used in the Realme 10 Pro+ and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

That’s not all as the listing on Geekbench also confirmed that the Galaxy A34 5G has 6GB of RAM but we expect to see more RAM options when the phone debuts. As per the software, the phone will boot Android 13 OS out of the box and will feature the latest OneUI 5 skin software.

The Geekbench database listed the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G as having 6GB of RAM. However, we may anticipate that it will also be offered in various memory setups. As for software, the device rocks the latest Android 13-based OS. According to Geekbench 5 benchmark test, the Galaxy A34 5G European variant has a single-core score of 786 points and a multi-core score of 2294 points.

Other details regarding the Samsung Galaxy A34 are a 48MP OIS triple rear camera, a 13MP front camera, and a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. It’ll be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging and might be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
