Display & Design

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G has a plastic back cover, aluminum frame, and a glass front. In terms of display, it brings a 6.52-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED touchscreen with 120Hz refresh rate support. This is unlike the display of the iPhone SE 2022 which is smaller at 4.7-inch, also the quality is old-fashioned (720p screen resolution with no high refresh rate).

Although both smartphones are durable with IP67 water and dust resistance certification, however, when it comes to displaying quality, fast swiping/scrolling, the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is far better in this segment.

Camera

Talking of the camera, it is very easy to pick the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G over the iPhone SE 2022. Not necessarily because of the quality, but rather because of the versatility that Galaxy A53 5G brings.

Around the Galaxy A53 5G you’ll get a 64MP main camera with OIS support, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. Upfront is a 32MP selfie camera. An extra juice here is the fact that both the front and back camera on the Galaxy A53 can record video in 4k resolution.

In comparison, the iPhone SE 2022 has a single 12MP rear camera and a single 7MP front-facing camera, and only the rear camera can record video in 4k resolution while the front is maxed at 1080p resolution.
