The Samsung Galaxy A series has been fan favorite in the mid-range segment. And this can be seen from the reception the Galaxy A52 got. Even the more powerful Galaxy A52s 5G was also well received. Which means the incoming Galaxy A53 might be loved by many also.
Although we’re expecting the Galaxy A53 to debut next year 2022, new renders from OnLeaks and Digit has given us an idea how the device would look like. From the new renders, the Galaxy A53 spot very similar design as the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52s 5G. But there are some key upgrades and differences.
One of the difference is that, the new Galaxy 53 has completely flat back panel. Another difference is that the camera bump does not stick out very much as those of the Galaxy A52. Instead, it blends in smoothly with the back. And there is a quad rear camera set up with a LED flash.
So far, the renders only showed the device in black and white colors. But judging from the previously released devices in this series, Samsung might include more color options for purchase.
The thickness of the Galaxy A53 is 8.14mm or 9.733mm when taking into account the camera bump. This makes it slightly slimmer than the Galaxy A52. From the renders, it also appears that, the Galaxy A53 will come without a 3.5mm jack.
For now, there is no official report as to the specifications and hardware of the Galaxy A52. But, since the previous device in the series come with 120Hz refresh rate and 64MP main camera, you can expect Samsung to top those features.
Lastly, according to a new leak, Samsung might only launch the 5G model of this device. Which means, there won’t be a 4G model of the Galaxy A53 like we saw with the Galaxy A52.
The Samsung Galaxy A53 might be priced between $400 and $450 and if everything goes well, Samsung might follow the tradition of launching the device in March or April of 2022.
