Currently, the Samsung Galaxy A54 is enjoying a lot of discounts because of the release of the new A55. In some stores, the Galaxy A54 could be found for as low as €300. In contrast, the new Galaxy A55 is more expensive with a starting price of €480 for the 8/128 GB model.

2. Display, Design and Durability
The designs are identical but the build material differs. Both smartphones have a dot-in display, the front and back are made of glass and the rear cameras are aligned vertically. However, the Samsung Galaxy A55 is more premium because it’s the only one with a metal frame.
As for durability, The Galaxy A55 uses Gorilla Glass Victus+ likely on both front and rear, while the Galaxy A35 uses Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back. When compared, the Gorilla Glass Victus+ is said to be 2x scratch resistant as the Gorilla Glass 5 on the Galaxy A54.
When it comes to their displays, the Galaxy A55 has a larger screen of 6.6 (vs the 6.4 on Galaxy A54). More so, the Galaxy A55 has a brighter screen. But they share other things in common such as FHD+ resolution (1080x2340px) and 120 Hz refresh rate support.

Performance-wise, the Galaxy A55 is superior. It comes with the Exynos 1480 5G chipset, paired with 8/12 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage models. In contrast, the Galaxy A54 is powered by Exynos 1380 5G chipset, paired with 6/8 GB RAM and a 128/256 GB storage model. Overall, the Galaxy A55 is faster and better equipped for gaming.
4. Camera Comparison
The Galaxy A55 has a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera, while on the rear there’s a 50MP f/1.8 primary shooter with OIS, a 12MP f/2.2 fixed-focus ultrawide camera, and a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera.
