Samsung Galaxy A72 4G: We’ve been hearing news and rumors about the Samsung Galaxy A72 since last year. And from what we gathered so far, it will come in two different variants, a 4G model and 5G model. Well, we already know much about the 5G model but not so much about the 4G model.
But the narrative just changed with the leaked images of the Galaxy A72 4G surfacing online. Thanks to a German blog WinFuture, we now know what the 4G model of the Galaxy A72 will look like.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A72 4G
The Galaxy A72 4G will spot similar design as the 5G model. There is a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED display with FullHD+ and 90Hz refresh rate. It also has a quad rear camera set up positioned at the top left corner.

Previous rumors has it that the phone will come with 64MP main camera, 13MP Ultrawide, 5MP depth and 5MP macro camera. But the new update shows there is a twist to that as it suggest the presence of an 8MP telephoto with 2x zoom and a 2MP macro instead of previously rumored 5MP macro. It still retains the 64MP main and 13MP Ultrawide cameras.

Upfront the Galaxy A72 4G will come with 32MP selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint reader. It’s going to be powered by a Snapdragon 720G SoC and according to Geekbench this chipset can have up to 8GB of RAM. News also has it that there might also be a 6GB RAM model.
The smartphone will run Android 11 out if the box with two Internal storage options – 128GB and 256GB. We are also expecting to see space for storage expansion via microSD card.

This phone is said to be rated IP67 and has 5,000mAh batter to keep it alive. There is USB type-C port with a possible 25W fast charge according to FCC.
There is going to be at least four different colours if the Galaxy A72 4G and it’s pricing is expected to start from €449 in Europe (Germany, Russia, France and other European countries). This bit is in line with German portal Idealo’s listing, which had the 128GB model at €449 and 256GB variant at €509.
None of these information is confirmed by Samsung yet but with the rumored imminent launch we hope to get all the official details soon.
