Samsung Galaxy Note20 Plus: This phone is usually more of the middle man between the base variant and the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra. It comes with little bit of both worlds which makes it a very interesting phone in the Samsung Galaxy Note20 line up. We have put together this specification post to help you better know this phone.
The Samsung Galaxy Note20 Plus is going to serve as a middle man for the base variant and more expensive variant (Note20 and Note20 Ultra respectively).

Quick Note: All the Samsung Galaxy Note20 phones will have a 5G variant if powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or 865+. This is due to the integrated 5G modem present in that SOC.
Here is the take, if you can’t afford the Note20 Ultra and you don’t like the Note20, then buy the Note20 Plus. Smartphone companies have been doing this and it’s pretty smart.
We don’t know what your expectations are for this new phone but we trust Samsung Mobile to meet them (at the least they’ll try). Since this phone will be powered by same SOC that powers the Note20 Ultra, we don’t expect to see much difference in terms of performance and overall user experience.
Well, we have put together the complete features of the smartphone below (expected specifications). As always, we focus more on user experience and performance, hence we’ll be skipping all the technical grammars.

Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Note20 Plus
Build and Display
The phone is coming with DYNAMIC AMOLED display type of size 6.85 or 6.9 inch which is pretty big (it’s better called a phablet). It’s display is having a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection which is good.
When it comes to it’s build materials, you should expect to see a glass back and front and an aluminum frame. These materials are premium and far better than plastic even though “glass is glass and glass breaks.”

A Corning Gorilla Glass 6 back and front means the phone will be pretty solid and have some level of protection when it falls. But, given it’s size and materials, you should expect the phone to be relatively heavy.
Chipset, RAM and Internal Storage
When it comes to it’s chipset there are various options for Samsung to choose from. There is the Samsung Exynos 992 chipset which is good then there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+.
To be fair, the Exynos 992 SOC is good and Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 is better but given the boost in GPU and overclocked CPU of the Snapdragon 865+, it’s probably the best option here.
If you are confused about the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, then you need to watch This Video to help you better understand the new SOC from Qualcomm.
But, Samsung might just decide not to power this phone with the Snapdragon 865+. This might be the major difference between the Note20 Plus and Note20 Ultra. Nothing is specified yet so for now lets focus on the RAM and Internal Storage below.
So far, the phone is expected to come in two variants of, 12GB RAM and 256GB Internal Storage, 12GB RAM and 512GB Internal Storage. We can’t confirm if there will be soccer for Storage expansion via microSD card just yet.
Talk about best camera phones and the list won’t be complete without a Samsung Galaxy Note phone ( for the past few years).
This phone is expected to have a triple rear camera. A 108 MP main camera, a 13 MP periscope lens and a 12 MP ultrawide lens. Again nothing is confirmed yet but we can tell you some of the expected features of these cameras (same cameras as the Note20 Ultra).
We are expecting to see features like, 3x optical zoom, OIS, gyro-EIS and super steady video mode activated ( some features might be removed to show difference between the Note20 Plus and Note20 Ultra).
Upfront, the phone might come with a 32 MP placed in a punch hole at the middle of the screen. Which makes the phone looks very premium and modern.
Software and Battery
The phone run out of the box Android 10 along with Samsung latest software the One UI 2.1 which is really good. Galaxy Note20 will likely be powered by a non removable 4500mAh battery with 35W fast charge feature enabled and a 10W wireless charge enabled.
Charging the phone should not be much of a problem though. We have put together the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Plus below.
