Samsung has started rolling out the November security update for the Galaxy S21 series. This means, the device is getting the security patch for November very early. The company has always been among the first to roll out update for its devices.

The November security update is for the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. It comes with the firmware version G99xBXXS3AUJ7. Currently, the update is rolling out to users in Germany but more users in the European markets will get this update in coming days.

Samsung users in Asia, Africa, North America, and Latin America markets could get the update by the first half of next month.

We don’t have the details or changelog for the update yet, but it is expected to fix various data security and vulnerabilities related to user privacy. Security patches usually incudes device stability improvements and general bug fixes.

If you own any of the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone and you live in Germany, you can check for the latest OTA update in your phone by going to Settings » Software update and clicking on Download and install.

Samsung has also started rolling out the beta version of One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 in various regions. We expect the stable version to be available by the end of this year.
