Samsung Galaxy S23 has a compact design. It features a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x touchscreen with an FHD+ resolution, 120Hz, HDR10+ certification, 1750 nits max brightness, IP68 water and dust resistance, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

For security, it features an under-display fingerprint scanner for biometric verification. It is available in four color options Green, Lavender, Cream, and Phantom Black.

Performance

Sitting at the helm of performance is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset running at 3.36GHz, up from the normal maximum 3.2GHz on other SD 8 Gen 2 smartphones. The chip is paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage. There’s a stereo speaker tuned by AKG.

Camera

The camera system here is the same as that of the Galaxy S23 Plus. It has a 50MP OIS primary cam, supported by a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens. And upfront is a 12MP selfie snapper. The rear camera can shoot video at 8k @30fps. But the front is capped at 4K max resolution.

Battery | Software

Samsung Galaxy S23 has the smallest battery in the lineup this year. The smartphone packs a 3,900 mAh battery capacity with 25W wired and 10W wireless fast charging technology. The software is OneUI 5.1 skin based on Android 13 out of the box. And Samsung has promised four years of software upgrades.
