Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 to come with Unisoc T618 chip and 3GB RAM

Samsung is set to bring the Galaxy Tab A8 and a recent Geekbench listing has revealed its chipset, RAM and storage. According to the listing, the Galaxy Tab A8 will rock the Unisoc Tiger T618 chip.

This chip has two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0 GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 cores ticking at 1.8 GHz. The CPU is accompanied with the Mali-G52 MP2 paired with 3GB of RAM.

The Wi-Fi only version has the model number SM-X200 while the LTE model has the model number SM-X205. These tablets will run Android 11 out of the box with One UI software.

Both the Wi-Fi and LTE models is expected to run same Unisoc Tiger T618 chip. For now, only 3GB RAM has surfaced but we also expect to see a 4GB RAM version with an option of 128GB of storage.

There is no official date for the launch of this device yet but we expect to see it before the year runs out. Main while, you can enjoy up to $150 discount when you buy the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 FE from Amazon US.
