Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 price in UK starts at £949 (~$999) for the baseline variant of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The official sales is scheduled to start on August 27.

The Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED touchscreen with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. With a screen brightness that can max up to 1200 nits.

Moreover, this time around, the cover display is larger than what was seen in last year’s Galaxy Flip 5G. This year, the Galaxy Flip 3 has a much larger cover display of 1.9-inch Super AMOLED with a 260×512 resolution. The main purpose of this small cover screen would be for checking notifications and time.

There is a vertical lined up rear camera, with the LED flash below the module. The dual snapper includes a 12MP main camera with Dual Pixel AF and OIS, as well a 12MP ultrawide angle cam, which means it’s identical to what the Galaxy Flip and Flip 5G had. While the selfie camera remains 10MP just like we had seen in previous Galaxy Flip devices.

There’s also a higher variant of the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 with 8/256GB storage priced for £999 (~$1,049). The device is already on pre-order on Samsung.com.

Giving power to the Samsung Galaxy Flip 3 is the 5nm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. Paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 storage to ensure fast operation of the Android 11 skinned with One UI software from Samsung.

The most disappointing part of this device is the battery capacity. Samsung decided to retain the 3,300 mAh capacity with 15W fast charging, which is really disappointing on a $999 phone in 2021.
