Samsung is not done with the Galaxy A line up for the year. It appears that the Korean company is set to launch a new Galaxy A52s with a more powerful Processor. Remember the Galaxy A52 was launched with the Snapdragon 720. While the Galaxy A52 5G and A72 make use of Snapdragon 750G.
But the incoming Galaxy A52s will be making use of the more powerful Snapdragon 778G. The guys at GalaxyClub, spotted the Galaxy A52s — model number SM-A528B — on the Geekbench benchmark database.
Using the Snapdragon 778G is a nice move as this means the new Galaxy A52s will have better performance compared to the Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and Galaxy A72. There is few details regarding the phone for now.
The Galaxy A52s spotted on benchmark had 8GB of RAM which means there might also be a 6GB of RAM model. It also ran Android 11 and this is no surprise as Samsung is expected to start rolling out Android 12 updates for its smartphones later this year.
The colors of the Galaxy A52s is also revealed to come in white, black, and light green. According to report from GalaxyClub, the device will be available in European markets when it’s launched.
This device is expected to debut somewhere in September and let’s just hope the chip shortage saga won’t affect the device.
We still don’t know the upgrades the Galaxy A52s will bringing over the Galaxy A52 and A52 5G aside from the better processor. But we expect to get more details from leaks and rumors in the coming weeks. So stay tuned.
