Within that growth, the biggest rise is seen in mobile gaming; it accounted for 40% of the market in 2021, a percentage expected to grow as the market expands.

Why is mobile gaming on the rise? There are many factors, including 5G connectivity and improved smartphone capability to handle better games. Also, the market’s breadth is huge; so many different gaming genres fall specifically within the ‘online gaming’ remit.

For instance, the accepted image of an online gamer is probably a person hunched over a screen in a darkened room, playing something like Call of Duty. Well, Call of Duty is now a mobile game with just as much depth and immersion as any other title. That’s only a small portion of the online gaming market.

Thanks to better handheld devices, online slot providers have been able to ramp up their quality of late; the Ladbrokes online casino games include titles such as Sports TV Blackjack and Quantum Roulette, both of which have live dealers. Games like that need great connectivity and impressive screens to get over on mobile, something new devices have.

I definitely would not recommend anything from red magic. I have owned the 5G pulse and the 3g, they both have battery issues and the built in fan will drain the battery and reduce the life to 1 year if you are lucky. Also if you order it from the company you can easily expect to pay double if not more by the time it is delivered and this will take a minimum of 2 months if you are lucky. The glass on these devices are extremely fragile so if you live in a cold climate like I do (Southern Ontario Canada) it will break just from the cold. The Asus Rog is more expensive but a much higher quality phone
