Qualcomm has confirmed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 release date to be on October 24. This year, the company will announce the chipset about a month earlier than last year when the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was launched.

The event will be held in Maui, Hawaii from October 24-26. It is said that the chipset will feature a new 1+5+2 architecture instead of the 1+2+2+3 used in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Gen 2 series.

The first smartphones to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will be Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro, vivo X100 series, iQOO 12 series, Redmi K70 series, OnePlus 12, and Realme GT5.
