Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 specs are the same as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. Samsung had earlier collaborated with Qualcomm for a special version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset(which they called SD 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy).

The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy is a faster version of the SD 8 Gen 2 chip. The Plus version increases the prime core from 3.2GHz to 3.36GHz and boosts the GPU clock speed from 680MHz to 719MHz. What this means is that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 has a 5% higher CPU and 5.7% higher GPU performance.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 may be new to other brands or companies but to Samsung, it is not. Because it pioneered the use of it on the Galaxy S23 Series.
