Tecno Camon 16 Premier Preview
This phone is a mainly a camera phone with extra features that also gives it extra juice as a gaming phone. Its more like a combo of camera and gaming experience all in one. Pretty cool right? It gets even better.
Tecno Camon 16 Premier: Design, Display and Build
This is the best Tecno phone yet and they are not joking. The phone comes with Glass front, plastic back and plastic frame. It has a curved rectangular punch hole to the left of the screen that houses two selfie cameras.

Camon 16 premier is protected by a gorilla glass screen 3. Its screen size is about 6.9 inches with a resolution of about 1080 x 2400 pixels, 20:9 ratio (~399 ppi density). It’s display type is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with small bezels.
Its display comes with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate with 120Hz touch sampling. A feature that even the more expensive phones don’t have.
Tecno Camon 16 Premier: Camera
Camon 16 premier comes with a quad rear camera. There is a 64MP wide main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. The camera sensor is from SONY and just like the Camon 15 Premier, you should expect great images and videos from this phone.
Up front, there is a dual selfie camera placed in a punch hole to the left. There is 48MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Tecno Camon 16 Premier: Chipset and Software
The chipset of the Camon 16 Premier is the MediaTek Helio G90T. This chipset from MediaTek is a gaming chipset and it is very good for gaming and some middle level graphics work.
It’s not a 5G chipset and given the current status of 5G network in most countries where Tecno have large market share, the 5G feature is really no much of an issue.
Camon 16 Premier runs Android 10 out of the box. It also come with Tecno latest skin software, HiOS 7. This new skin software comes with lots of features that you should try out.

The phone come with sensors for security. There is a functional Google Assistant that will perform pretty good task using your voice. Fingerprint sensor is side mounted and a FaceID protection also available for additional security.
