Tecno Mobile has long been seen as the brand that produce low budget smartphones. Most people even term it the cheap brand and tends to rate other brands ahead. Well, until recently where the company has really stepped up its game.

Thanks to the Inside Man from Tech Rann, we got to see the inside of the Camon 17 Pro. From the teardown video, we got to see how big the 48MP selfie camera actually looks like. It’s even bigger than the rear cameras of some smartphones.

The changes starts from the plastic back of the device. Holding it feels really premium although the Inside Man said it takes too much fingerprint and it also scratch easily. Well, this is a problem a protective case can easily solve.

Since the Tecno Camon 17 Pro comes with Helio G95 gaming chipset with big battery, its cooling system is very important. Most devices gets heated up quickly and this affects the performance of the device. But it appears the smartphone is well equipped.

Underneath the battery are two graphite tapes to help keep the temperature of the battery down. Also, the chipset has thermal paste and covered with copper. Thermal paste to cool the chipset and copper to absorb heat – good combination.
