The wait for the first Tecno 5G smartphone is over as the details of the smartphone has surfaced online. This device seems to be the most powerful Tecno Mobile smartphone yet. Its Geekbench score tops those of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
According to a video posted by @Maii_HD on YouTube, he detailed the specs of the first Tecno 5G smartphone. The device is called the Tecno Pova 5G and it has similar design as the Tecno Pova 2.

Tecno Pova 5G specifications
Tecno Pova 5G features a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display, FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chip paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is also space for storage expansion via microSD card.
In the camera segment, the device features a 50MP triple rear camera. We think the other two sensors might be an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, it might feature a single 16MP selfie camera.

Its battery is tuned down to 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. This is not as big as the 7,000mA found in the Pova 2. The Tecno Pova 5G runs Android 11 out of the box along with HiOS 7.
As the first Tecno smartphone to come with 5G, we expect the device to get at least a year of major software update. The Moniker for this device is “Speed Up, Unleash the Beast”. This means Tecno is focusing on speed with this device.

The price of the Pova 5G is expected to be $280 to $300. @Maii_HD has also promised to release the details of the Infinix 5G smartphone in coming days. This device is expected to hit the market by the end of 2021.
