Both smartphones offer incredible performance. But, the Honor Magic Vs is about $300 more expensive and thus one would expect it to be the more powerful device. well, that is not the case as the Dimensity 9000+ 5 chipset in the Phantom V Fold is just as good as the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset in the Magic Vs.

Processing data, playing graphics-intensive games, and rendering high graphics on both smartphones are smooth. In fact, in some cases, while I was using both phones, the Phantom V Fold was better. Another reason why I rate the performance of the Phantom V Fold over that of the Magic Vs is device temperature and consistency.

The Phantom V Fold is able to maintain its cool under intense use and its performance was more consistent when compared to the Honor Magic Vs. If performance is what you’re looking for, the Phantom V Fold has my recommendation.
