Tecno Phantom X is a premium phone released by Tecno Mobile. It is the upgrade of the Tecno Phantom 9 released last year. But unlike the Phantom 9, this one is coming with loads of exciting features and it’s an upgrade in every sense.
From previous report, Tecno is setting up base in Europe. And to successfully enter that market, they need smartphones that fits the region and can compete.

So, it make sense the the company is bringing a curved display, AMOLED panel, it’s own AI in a smartphone they hope to sell in Europe countries.

Build and Display
The Phantom X has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate enabled. Its display resolution is FullHD+ with punch hole for dual selfie camera up front.

The display also has the always on feature and under sunlight, the screen is bright enough for you to use the display. Also, the display is curved which makes if the very first Tecno Phone to come with a curved screen.
Phantom X build is plastic back, plastic frame and glass front. From leaks so far, the back plastic is glossy which gives it that premium feel. While the front glass has the Corning Gorilla Glass as default protection.
Chipset, RAM and Internal Storage
Phantom X is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. This chipset is a gaming chipset from MediaTek and from its Geekbench test and score, it is very impressive. The Helio G95 chip will be accompanied by an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz and a power GPU to compliment.

There is no 5G for the Phantom X. Maybe it’s successor will come 5G but we’ll have to wait and see. But, when it comes to performance, you can expect this device to perform really well.
In the RAM and Storage segment, the Phantom X is coming with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. You’ll also get space for storage expansion via microSD card. A combination of 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage is pretty impressive.
Camera
At the rear, the Phantom X comes with a triple rear cameras. A 50MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide, and 8MP macro. The sensors is paired along a laser with four flashes.
