Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE in the UK can now upgrade their tablet to the latest Android 12. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE is the latest Samsung tablet to get the Android 12 update along with a new security patch. The update is currently available for those in the UK but we expect it to be available in other region soon.
The software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE has the firmware number T736BXXU1BVC2. And this new update include the February 2022 security patch. This update will also improve the security and stability of the device. From the documentation by Samsung, the new security patch brings fix for more than 50 privacy and security related issues.

All users of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE living in the UK should be getting notifications for the update now. But if you haven’t received such notifications, then you can manually check for the update by going to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from SamMobile and do a manual flash (if you know how to).

Galaxy Tab S7 FE Android 12 (One UI 4) new features
The latest Android 12 update is based on the latest Samsung One UI 4 and it brings some new features to the tablet. The Galaxy Tab S7 FE now have a revamped UI design, featuring the Color Palette feature, bigger sliders, and improved Dark Mode.
Samsung’s stock aps such as Bixby, Bixby Routines, My Files, Samsung Gallery, Samsung Internet, and Samsung Keyboard have also been updated. There are also new widgets for the hike screen and the lock screen of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Samsung also brought improvements to the AoD and widgets with this new update.

Privacy and security is also improved as the new update brings security features such as privacy indicators for when the camera and mic is active. There is also now quick setting toggles to cut off system-wide access to the camera and microphone. The new privacy dashboard to check which app have access to your information and for how long is now also available.
