The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is now getting Android 12 update based in One UI 4.1. This update also comes with the March 2022 security patch and it brings extra security, stability, and more features to the Galaxy Note 20.
If you own any of the Galaxy Note 20 phones i.e, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20 5G, and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, you can now upgrade your device to the latest Android 12. The update is currently available in Switzerland and is expected to be in other countries soon.

With this new update, the Galaxy Note 20 will be getting new camera features as the one seen on the latest Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Users will also be getting new personalization options. The new update will also allow users to decide the number of virtual RAM they intend to allocate for specific task.
The update that contains the One UI 4.1 is the firmware version N98xFXXU3FVC5. For those currently living in Switzerland, you can download and install the new update on your Galaxy Note 20 phone by clicking on the notification when it pops up. If you can’t see the update notification, then go to the “Settings” app on your phones after accessing the “Software update” menu.

Users that live outside Switzerland can wait for the update is o come to their region. These users should see the notification in coming weeks. You can also download the latest firmware from SamMobile and install it manually (be sure you know how to do this before you proceed).
A general advice is that you have a backup of your files before you start any major phone update. This way you have a copy of your file if things don’t go as planned.
