The vivo iQOO 11 is a premium smartphone from vivo/iQOO. It’s the successor to the vivo iQOO 10 released earlier this year and it comes with a newer and better chipset. Chipset, CPU, and GPU

The vivo iQOO 11 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 5G chipset. This is a 5G chipset that is built on a 4nm process technology and it has an Octa-core processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset has an Octa-core processor/CPU with a maximum speed clocked at 3.2GHz. This chipset has one Cortex-X3 prime core with a clock speed of 3.2GHz, two Cortex-A715 power cores with a speed of 2.80GHz, two Cortex-A710 big efficiency cores with a speed of 2.8GHz, and three Cortex-A510 small efficiency cores with a speed of 2.00GHz.

The CPU cores are paired with the Adreno 740 GPU. This chipset allows the iQOO 11 to process data faster and render high graphics with ease. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset in this smartphone has a new ISP and a better AI Neural Engine. vivo iQOO 11 has a triple rear camera and a single front camera. On the rear, it has a 50MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture, PDAF, and OIS features. The primary camera is supported by a 13MP ultra-wide lens that also functions as a macro lens, a 12MP telephoto lens that can do 2x optical zoom, and a 16MP front camera.

The back cameras of the vivo iQOO 11 can steady videos in 4K resolution while the 16MP front camera can record steady videos in 1080p resolution. Camera features such as Dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, panorama, gyro-EIS, PDAF, OIS, portrait, night mode, etc are available in the iQOO 11.

Display, Design, and Durability

The vivo iQOO 11 has a 6.78-inches flat AMOLED display that can refresh at 144Hz and supports HDR10+. The peak brightness of the display is 1500 nits and it has noticeable bezels. The back panel of the phone is slightly curved and has a matte finish.

The front screen has a punch holder on the top center that houses the front camera. On the rear, it has a camera module where all three rear camera sensors are placed. The vivo iQOO 11 supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) but has no microSD card slot and 3.5mm headphone jack port.

The volume rocker and power button of the vivo iQOO 11 are on the right side of the frame of the phone. While its microphone, stereo speaker grill, and USB Type-C charging port are on the bottom of the frame. There is a second speaker and microphone on the top side of the frame.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the vivo iQOO 11 with support for 120W wired fast charging. You can charge the battery of the iQOO 11 using the 120W charger from 0 to 100% in about 20 minutes. But, there is no wireless charging and no reverse wireless charging solution available.

Software and Other Features

The vivo iQOO 11 boots Origin OS Ocean based on Android 13 out of the box. This phone is expected to get about three years of software updates. You can download and install apps from the Google Play Store on this phone and even download major updates over OTA.
